Refund and Cancellation Policy

STEP, LLC will provide refunds less any fees according to the conditions listed below. All open seminars are to be prepaid in advance of the start date of the seminar. Until we receive payment for the open seminar, your participant(s) will not be guaranteed a seat in the course. Clients that provide purchase orders for their participants will be invoiced upon receipt of the purchase order. All refunds requests will be processed within fourteen (14) business days.


For all site-specific services, a purchase order or other form of payment is required in order to secure agreed-upon dates. If we do not receive a purchase order or other form of payment prior to three (3) days before we are onsite, we reserve the right to reschedule, and extra charges outside of quoted costs may be incurred due to prework or equipment ordered for the project.


Please inform us no less than thirty (30) days prior to the date of your training or service of any cancellations or modifications. Cancellations received thirty (30) days prior to the date of training will incur a fee of 20% of the training or service cost.

NO REFUNDS will be granted if we are notified less than thirty (30) days before the date of the training or service. This includes if you register for the course less than thirty (30) days prior to the seminar.


STEP, LLC reserves the right to cancel any open seminar if deemed necessary no less than seven (7) days before the scheduled date of the training. In the event that STEP, LLC cancels an open seminar, all fees associated with that training will be refunded.

If a site-specific project is cancelled by the client, we reserve the right to charge for any prework or equipment/material costs that may have been incurred in preparation for said project.


Should your participant(s) not be able to attend the training they were registered for, we will be happy to transfer you to another equivalent session, provided that the request is received within thirty (30) days of the start date of the original seminar they were registered for. For example, if they are unable to attend an Open 24hr Hazmat Seminar in June, we would be able to transfer them to another Open 24hr Hazmat Seminar later in the year.


Contact us to let us know if you will be substituting the original participant for different one. This is allowed at any time. If the seminar requires a medical release, we must receive the medical release for your substitution at least fifteen (15) days prior to the start date of the seminar.

Printed Materials

Any printed materials purchased by the client are non-refundable and non-transferrable. This includes any purchased Emergency Preparedness Guides, Train-the-Trainer Course Materials, etc. All sales on these items are final, and no refund or exchange requests will be granted.
