8-Hour HazMat Technician Level Refresher

Location: STEP Training Center | Time: 8:00am - 4:00pm | Duration: 8 hours
OSHA requires annual refresher training for all emergency response hazmat technicians that have completed a 24-Hour training course. This course is a full day of hands-on, interactive emergency drills that simulate situations that may occur in an industrial facility.
PLEASE NOTE: Participants must sign a statement asserting that they are medically approved to suit-up during hands-on drills and workshops.
The objectives of this training session include:
- Understanding your role as an emergency responder
- Analyzing a site emergency
- Planning an initial response within capabilities & competencies available
- Implementing the planned response to change the outcomes
- Understanding the use of the Incident Command System (ICS)
- Gaining the ability to respond in required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

8-Hour HazMat Technician Refresher | Oct 10, 2024

Cancellations received thirty (30) days prior to the course starting date, the registration fee will be refunded less 20%. NO REFUNDS will be issued less than thirty (30) days prior to the seminar. STEP reserves the right to cancel any seminar if necessary no less than seven (7) days prior to the start date of the training. If this occurs, a will refund of all registration fees associated with the seminar will be issued within fourteen (14) business days.
