E-Training (STEP-ET)

We have added another training feature to assist you with a blended approach toward learning - STEP's E-Training. A STEP-ET site-specific video added to your traditional hands-on, interactive, and 24/7 on-demand training increases effective adult learning techniques.

Off-the-shelf videos only provide an overview of information and do not comply with OSHA's requirement to provide site-specific safety.  STEP-ET site-specific videos add that critical component needed for compliance.  These videos can be administered whenever and wherever is convenient for your employees.

Task Oriented Videos         Ever wonder how to deliver consistent information to "seasoned" employees and new employees?  Task oriented videos help you accomplish this type of training, because they provide a visual of the task, an audio of what should be done and integrated with on-the-job training - a hands-on component.  Information retention increases when you can combine all three elements into one training:  visual, audio, and actual hands-on.

Contractor / New Employee Orientation Video       The cost of updating a video can be $10,000 - $15,000 or more.  With STEP-ET, we can create a site-specific training for less than half the update cost of other video providers and later update that video for less than $500.  This provides our clients with more flexibility to update information when needed.  Providing new employee training in a timely manner and providing site-specific information is a must.  STEP-ET DVDs are developed with your site as the subject.  On-site training has never been more effective.
